JUVEDERM® is a dermal filler made of hyaluronic acid that comes in two formulations in the United States.
JUVEDERM® Ultra XC is optimal for contouring volumizing superficial wrinkles, around the mouth and on the cheeks and mid-face. It is also great for subtle lip enhancement.
JUVEDERM® Ultra Plus XC has a more robust formulation for correcting deeper wrinkles in the face and for more volumptious lips. Because of its thicker formulation it is great for replacing loss volume in the cheek area or to augment cheeks in a Patient wanting fuller cheeks or a more chiseled face.
JUVEDERM® Ultra and Ultra Plus XC are two of the most inconspicuous fillers that add structure and volume to aging skin. As we age we tend to lose volume from our faces and these Hyluronic Acid products can all be layered for long lasting resluts.
RESTALYNE SILK® is a clear gel formulated of hyaluronic acid, a sugar that is naturally present in our skin
and is a member of the Restalyne family. It is specifically designed for subtle lip enhancement and smoothing of wrinkles around the mouth.
As we age, our mouths can be one of the first areas to show the signs of aging. Restylane silk is formulated especially for this area to help the fine lines around the mouth and to enhance the lips. Restylane Silk provides a smooth upper lip without adding bulk above the lip, thus giving a natural look.
RESTYLANE-L® is a hyaluronic acid filler that instantly plumps and reduces the look of mild to moderate wrinkles and can be used to replace lost volume from the face.
It is most commonly injected in the nasolabial folds, lips, and marionette lines. I love to use Restylane in the tear troughs. it is the best filler for under the eyes. Restylane tends to last a minimum of a year under the eyes.
RESTYLANE-LYFT® is a hyaluronic acid filler that is thicker than Restylane Silk and Restalyne.
It is commonly used for augmenting the cheeks, adding volume to the face and for voluptuous lips.
In clinical trials, once built up, it can last for a year up to eighteen months.
All of the hyaluronic acid fillers can be used together in various areas of the face, resulting in a more youthful look, unique to each individual patient's needs.
